The Views
You see the bay from both rooms. The bedroom window faces it. The living room opens onto the balcony that faces it. There's no other building between this unit and the water — the top-floor end-unit position means no neighbors blocking the view from above or from one side.
Sunrise reflects off the bay in the morning. Sunset hits the same view late in the day. The balcony is positioned for both.


The Beach
The Shores has 600 feet of shared sand beachfront — a real swimming beach with a gentle slope into the water. The walk from the unit is short (third floor down, no long path).
In summer, this is where most guests spend the day. In the shoulder seasons, the beach is quieter but the bay views are arguably better — water against autumn or winter landscape.

POOL INFORMATION
The pool at The Shores is not included with this rental. It's on-site, but reserved for resort spa guests and homeowners. If pool access is important to your trip, the easiest path is to book any spa treatment at Grand Traverse Resort — that day's pool access comes with it.
Most of our guests use the 600 ft of beachfront and don't miss the pool. We'd rather tell you up front than have it be a surprise.
